Abstract 
內燃機關의 軸出力은 動力計에서 軸 Torque와 回轉速度를 測定해서 求하거나 指壓線圖를 使用하여 正確히 計算할 수 있다. 그러나 本文에서는 實際機關에서의 가스 壓力과 溫度變化를 表示하는 略算式을 利用하여 出力을 求해 보았다. 그 結果 計算된 값이 近似値이다 實機關과 比較했을때 거의 同一한 값을 얻을 수 있었다.
The output horse power of engines can be calculated most exactly by means of indicator diagrams of cycles. This paper, however, is to attempt to calculate the brake horse power of engines by applying the equation which represents the changes of gas pressures and temperatures in the actual cycle, considering the various loses of an engine in operation. The value calculated by this method is very approximate to that one calculated by indicator diagrams of engines in operation and the result has proved that this method is reasonable enough.
