- Surface Rolling은 加工物의 표면 거칠기를 양호하게 하며, 경도를 상승시키는 일종의 塑性加工이다. 본 實驗에서는 加工物의 직경을 널리 사용되는 범위중에서 직경 φ27㎜, φ69㎜, φ96㎜을 택하여 그 直徑에 대한 加壓 Ball의 直徑變化가 Surface Roughness효과에 미치는 영향을 究明하였다.
Surface Rolling is one of the plastic deformation process which improves the surface roughness and hardness of the metal surface. In this study, the diameters of the workpieces were selected as φ96㎜, φ69㎜ and φ27㎜ which were used widely. And then the effect that the change of the diameter of the applied ball gave on the Surface Rolling was investigated. The results of this study are as follows: 1. The change of the diameter of the applied ball upon the diameter of the workpiece is an important factor to the effect of Surface Rolling. 2. After 5 rolling times, the proper diameter of the applied ball in Surface Rorghness is φ7.1㎜, φ13.5㎜ and φ7.1㎜ respectively when each diameter of workpiece is φ96㎜, φ69㎜ and φ27㎜.
