Abstract 
헤테르고리화합물인 置換피리딘과 β-Phenethylbromide의 反應速度를 메탄올과 DMSO, 벤젠의 混合液媒에서 電氣傳導度法으로 測定하여 치환기 및 용매효과를 고찰하고 반응메카니즘을 검토하였다. 이 반응에서 피리딘의 치환기가 電子-주게基일수록 速度가 빠르고 電子-끌게 基일수록 적은 값의 速度常數였으며 대략 10^(-6)∼10^(-5)ℓ/mol.sec. 이였다. 용매에 따른 速度效果는 메탄올에서 보다는 DMSO-메탄올에서 빨랐으며 벤젠-메탄올에서는 속도가 느렸는데 이것은 DMSO는 극성반양성자성 용매이고 벤젠은 비극성 용매이므로 용매 효과에 의한 것이다. 엔트로피와 활성화에너지의 값이 전형적인 S_N2인 Menshutkin반응에서와 비슷한 값이였다. 그리고 等速關係와 Bro¨nsted-plot에서는 좋은 直線關係를 보였고 Hammettplot에서도 S_N2反應 특징인 좋은 相關性을 얻었다. , The rates of the reaction of β-Phenethylbromide with substituted pyridine in mixed solvents were measured by electric conductivity method. The effects of substituents and solvents on the reaction were discussed. The rates of reaction were increased with the electron-releasing power of substituents of pyridine, while The rate constants of electron attracting one were more small value. The value of rate constants is about 10^(-6)∼10^(-5)ℓ/mol.sec. In solvent effect the rates were more increased in DMSO-MeOH than in MeOH, while the rates were less increased in BZ-MeOH than in MeOH. This effects were originated in the polar aprotic property of DMSO and the nonpolar solvent of benzene. The values of entropy (△S‡) and activation energy (Ea‡) were similar to those of the Menshutkin reactoon -typical S_N2- Type. The isokinetic and the Bro¨nsted linear relationship showed a good linearity. The Hammett plot have an interrelation with the properties of S_N2
