The solid form polymer containing sulfur donor atom has been prepared by condensation of glutaraldehyde and ethanedithiol with acid solution. The polymer with appreciable selectivity for the metal ions was investigated. The order of adsorptivity of metal ions in the polymer was Hg^(2+)&gt
Mg^(2+) and showed relatively high selectivity at pH 4∼8 range for soft Lewis acid such as Hg^(2+), Pb^(2+). It was confirmed that uranyl ion also has great adsorptivity to the polymer.
Mg^(2+)순이며 pH 4∼8의 범위에서 Hg^(2+), Pb^(2+)와 같은 무른 Lewis 산이 높은 선택성을 가짐을 알았다. 또한 uranyl ion의 흡착능도 크게 나타남을 확인하였다.
